Forza Motorsport 4- A Review

The Forza series has evolved, matured and without making major changes, managed to establish itself in the public eye and the only sure thing is that it will satisfy fans of motoring in absolute degree. As is evident from the result, the Dan Greenawalt and the rest of the team from Redmond, followed by a specific and tight schedule, are able to look at the competition in the eyes.

The comparison with the opposite camp seems to be inevitable. But, if one looks at the creation of Turn10 and that of Polyphony Digital, it is really hard to judge what is best. The only certainty is that there is a huge difference in attitude. The immediacy of the West is to be confronted with the attention to detail of the East. With this confrontation, fasten your seatbelts because the beautiful 458 Italia surge in the Alps, with the engine screaming and tires, unable to contain the street.

The first tentative steps

As with its predecessor, Forza 4 comes in two DVDs, one of them includes the main title and the second to provide about 200 additional cars. For someone to use them, it must be installed on the hard disk of the console, although the space needed is not very large. From then on, will start career mode and players will find themselves on the road. The first race or, more correctly, the first ride, will test the abilities of the particular user, who will be able to adjust the difficulty level.

To be more precise, the player can not interfere with the conduct of AI, but instead can determine the rate of assimilation under which the vehicle behaves. Overall, the title offers everything you would expect. With many options, it allows even inexperienced drivers to carry everything on their feet. Leaving aside for the moment the games and returning to the main menu, this year the picture is brighter and richer than ever.

Everything following simple, yet in modern lines, with the option Auto vista is centrally located and generally prevails throughout a classroom. The good news is that now the career mode is very long in duration. Here, the races are divided into eight major sections with each one of them offers a hearty group of matches. As the player progresses, it increases the experience of the digital driver, and something similar will happen with the current vehicle of choice. At this point comes to the fore the area of individual mechanical improvements and here Turn10 does stinginess.

The improvements cover all sectors, while the external display will affect largely the aerodynamics of the road. The conclusions of the improvements will come via telemetry which offers Forza 4 and again in this field, the title seems to have no opponent. The CPU does not seem difficult to manage such a huge volume of data. The data presented in front of the eyes is amazing.

Jaws on the floor: the Autovista

Next stop option is Autovista. Jeremy Clarkson from the TV show Top Gear is the guide of the users but his comments are always aggressive and targeted. The player can move around the individual vehicle and examine the tires, brakes, engine and many other parameters. The entrance to the interior reveals the meticulous work that the development team has made in design with details to be overflowing everywhere.
