Max Payne 3 -Review

Rock Solid Game By Rock Star

Change always seems foreign to the human mind. Whether a change in hairstyle or a car design or in the style of a game. The man tends to accept and laced with things “as are” and any difference looks wrong. We have seen it happen many times in games, especially every time we see the trailer for X game from a franchise returning after several years. However, sometimes changes are for good. New practices and new trends have to be formed.

Somehow Rock star seems to do so as regards the beloved franchise Max Payne, a series which for years has broken the “shackles” of hardcore gaming and has become known to the public not as stable and loyal to new releases each week. Besides, when a game has been transferred to film, it can be easily perceived that something important has been achieved here.

When the trailer of Max Payne 3 was seen for the first time, our reaction was same as reported in the first paragraph. Why has the Rock star never fallen out of the options and almost never disappointed the audience. Actually, this game breaks the records of the sale. It was just a few days, the event Gathering 2011 took place in Berkshire, England, where we saw the first live Max Payne 3, to running on an Xbox 360 and displayed on a huge screen Panasonic 105 inch when we realized that Rock star probably is on track and that our complaints, although initially justified, were unfortunate.

The Max Payne 3 is not the product of a single studio, but a Rock star Studios’ production, which means that its development contribute almost all of our teams worldwide in order to achieve the best possible outcome.

The Max Payne 3 is a classic shooter in terms of third person. It is the familiar and cherished system of slow motion. All that we see unfolding before our eyes is the Max running through the corridors of the tenement house, killing everyone who appears in the street using the classic bullet time-running while the trademark jump – to escape from the toughest situations.

All this happens in a real panic situation with other tenants of the building running to save themselves while others helping Max in activating bombs tied on their bodies and everything around us is destroyed. After some more shooting and panic, this first chapter of the presentation ends.

The second part of the presentation took us long after the game, by which time Max has dramatically changed his appearance.  He has gone to Sao Paulo and is required to save his beloved friend from a gang. Here you begin to unravel some changes to the game.  As the most intense coverage of major areas where action is evolving, and a spectacular on-rails sequence using a bus makes even the director of the movie Speed envious.

The Rockstar has the opportunity to show the public astonishing animation of Max with the more open space. This means that during its motion in space, the protagonist has not looped frames. These are the frames that start when the player pushes the joystick each time. This is superb achievement from the technical point of view which gives a realistic flow of movement to the hero, and becomes even more evident when tried in bullet time-targeted at 360 degree.  At this point, we see Max changing attitudes in the hands, feet and head, as if aware of the surroundings. This level is clearly different in style from the original, but in previous games, the style remains faithful to the franchise, with a heavy atmosphere, classic monologues of Max and of course, violence, lots of violence .

Apparently, the Rock star-once again-is on track. It will give us another great experience while having kept some key points intact, using the voice of the actor James McCaffrey from previous games, adding to the recipe with the new setting of Sao Paulo and adding strong doses of the mature and extreme Hobo style that characterizes most of the games.
