Uncharted 3 – Game review
We had the opportunity to get a test of two levels of Uncharted 3. We had seen Chateau and the Cargo Plane in the same levels earlier in the previous E3. But now we have to take the Nathan with our own hands. Let us look our first impressions in more detail.
Chateau
Nathan Drake in the mission is with the Victor Sullivan in an old wooden house. The thugs have decided to burn this house. The fighting from the first evolves in flames. At each step, you will see walls collapsing, debris falling and all the while trying to find the nearest outlet.
Evolution is subversive, as the two heroes find themselves many times in a difficult position. Nathan Drake always gives the solution. There are beams and stairs collapsing and need attention. You will need to find the right path. Your efforts are made as usual on the razor’s edge, with the ruins of the building falling and literally save you several times.
The melee in battles is presented completely in different way, as there are the usual buffeting enemies. But depending on the reactions of your opponent you must press the corresponding buttons to the beat. If you make consecutive errors, you are dead. You always depend on the height of your opponent. You always have the opportunity to step away and some fights are pre-decided.
Your opponents are usually covered, but you will benefit from situations where they will see you shoot up or come and be covered from the back side. We hope that all this will be corrected before final publication. It is also worth mentioning that this year there is no friendly fire, as you can not shoot in the body of each partner.
Cargo Plane
The famous mission where Nathan Drake hunts a plane was quite easy and short, but questions about the sequel is left unanswered.
To set foot in our camp becomes an easy target, and fire from many directions starts coming in. But we manage and we get on the plane to avoid all the battles. Prevent it from taking off with the help of Elena Fisher and from there we take action.
Passing through the ventilation in the main part of the airplane we encounter hordes of enemies, who get emptied automatically upon us. This takes 2-3 restart from checkpoints. The Act is No. 17, so the scene is taking place at a relatively advanced stage of the game.
Graphic-Vision
The Naughty Dog is once again impressive work on the subject of graphics, and this year we will have brand new Naughty Dog 3.0 engine. This is an improvement of 2.0 Engine because the environment has the same quality, and characters with new animations show very meticulously carried out task. There are no more mechanical movements, but every hit is totally different. The effect of fire is extremely realistic, with the flames apparently bothering the protagonists of Uncharted, who tries to meet whenever they pass in front of them. The frames are kept stable and did not see any motion blur the disputed scene in which Nathan is seen approaching.
Throughout the course of your wanderings, the dialogues are ongoing. The Nathan encourages Sully in difficult time. The music is quite intense and appears again only in battles, whenever the circumstances require. Overall, the voice is excellent, and the same actors from previous Uncharted are back in familiar roles. The Nolan North is Nathan Drake, a Richard McGonagle plays Victor Sullivan and sweet Emily Rose takes over again as Elena Fisher.
